One of United Way's unique roles in the Big Bend community is connecting people and organizations together with volunteer needs and opportunities. There are three ways to discover volunteer opportunities in your community.
1-800-Volunteer.org
1 – If you want to get involved in your community, you've found the right place. 1-800-Volunteer.org matches volunteer opportunities with people who want to volunteer in a huge vareity of community-action groups, programs and events.

2-1-1 Big Bend
2 – 2-1-1 Big Bend isn't just a source of "getting" help, it also provides information on how people can "give" back to the community through volunteer opportunities with local human-service agencies and community-based organizations.
United Way of the Big Bend (UWBB)
3 – UWBB hosts community-wide events like the Capital City Bank Downtown GetDowns and Community Golf Classic, holds organizational campaigns and conducts multiple fund-raisers. We offer specific volunteer opportunities in several areas of interest.
